Get your research caps on, I need help
It's not easy to find the time, let alone the information that we need to find, and I'm in a bind right now, needing some info.
Lately I've seen more wind power coming into play, mostly in my travels to New York State last week, and I'm trying to find a cost effective way to work that into my business plan.
The turbines sold at Canadian Tire don't serve much of a purpose, especially when they require wind speeds of 45km/h, which, in most places, is impossible to achieve.
I have also seen solar hot water heaters, and would like to find more information on them.
Put it this way: I need to find some local renewable energy companies, in and around the Toronto area that deal with residential/agricultural/commercial settings.
I am in the process of trying to obtain government funding to get a business started in the next year.

Re: Get your research caps on, I need help
I need to find green energy builders who work with solar and wind power in the residential/agricultural/commercial field.
I will be wanting to run my business on green energy, that will be the following:
*5 bedroom raised bungalow
*14 stall barn with arena attached
*7 1 bedroom cabins with exterior lights
The thing is that I don't want to go the local Canadian Tire route, it's not worth the cost for something that's not going to work for my business, I need something that will work better than that.

On the right track, but I am looking at getting some pricing info, and I can't find it.
I've contacted a company that sells the products, but they don't serve my area and wont give me any information.

hmmmm.. everywhere i've looked they tend to just give phone numbers and ask you to ring about getting a quotation. Any of those you find, have an email address that you could enquire through? Doing my searches through the UK search engines is probably not turning up the same results as you.

I've tried with some already, but the problem is the same all around, I need to be in the area that they serve.
I need a miracle to get this going, that's for sure.

could your local municipal council help with funding? I know over here there are many initiatives and tax breaks etc to encourage people to invest in greener power.

Re: Get your research caps on, I need help
I've been working on getting government funding to start my business, they would pay for all of this, but I'm not having any luck so far.
