Holy smokes! I don't think I'd even heard of the term...if I had, I don't remember. I did google it and that's pretty amazing stuff! I get most of the stuff that they were saying. But I think I'll have to read it again to get the full explanation. Too much to take in late at night. But VERY cool!!! Good topic woday!

Maybe you mean solar wind, the ionic particles that radiate from the sun. The earth's magnetic field concentrates some of these ions in the north and south poles, making the northern and southern lights.

It's ionic, it's wind...

I hadn't heard of that before either. The Youtube demo was pretty cool. I'm not sure of the practical applications for this though.

I have several ionic breeze-type of air purifiers and I quite like the effect; is this anything like ionic wind?

I had never heard of this, thanks for the information I am not sure I understand it all but it is always interesting to read up on new things
