spring is trying hard to get sprung lolit warms up then gets cold again then warms up again and so on and so on. lolat least the snow is gone!

Exactly. Even if there are problems with how the product placement is being handled, it's still a positive sign to see large retailers adopting new technology and advertising it so that consumers begin to have green tech in their minds.

If the companies can make money by it, they'll talk and market as green as possible. Still, it's a good sign.

So many people are turned off by energy-saving products because of the initial price. They don't even realize how much money they'll save in the long run! But if more companies like this took a risk and did lower the prices, maybe people would also take a risk and help save the environment.

For the weekender sure, but anyone thinking they can go full time solar on these "made in china" products are going to be vary disapointed.

That's a good point. I'd be curious to know more about the quality of the Canadian Tire products. Even if the 'weekender' demographic gets on buying these though it's going to be a good sign for other companies who want to expand in the same manner.
