Default Canadian Tire

Hey...I was just looking through the latest Canadian Tire flyer. Yes, it will be recycled. =) I saw an ad for Eliminator 6.5 W folding solar panels. It's $79.99. That totally seems reasonable! The fact that it's portable too is awesome! And it's only 13 ounces. I know these things are not new...but it just seems reasonably priced for the size. It's great to think that this type of energy will be even more reasonably priced in the future making it that much easier to make a choice about what to buy to generate energy.

Canadian Tire Power - Product Summary

Does anybody have one already or bought one? I'd like to see if it works well or should I wait to see if they can improve on it.

It's good to hear that they are being reasonably priced. You'd think with them being fairly new that the price would be through the roof! I don't have one, I think I'll wait for a bit and hear how well it works first

Brendan.

Haha. I'd like to wait and hear other people's reviews of them first but it's good to know that Canadian Tire is offering them for so cheap. This may be a good first step toward more people adopting wind energy because it is so reasonably priced.

That is a point that needs to be stressed, I think! The more people take advantage of the renewable energy stuff, the lower the price will go!!! The less grid energy used, the lower your utility bill!!!! Good stuff all around!

Just the same it's good to see that one of the biggest Canadian companies is adopting the technology at an affordable price. If they advertise it as heavily as some of their other products than a lot of people could end up on board with it.

Where would you go to get it?

I think most of us who are just starting out would start with the cheaper stuff(even if it is junk), just to get used to it.

I know I probably would.

there are several places across Canada that sell quality products, yes it will cost more but it is worth investing in a good product right from the start. Here is a link to a place in London to give you an idea Im sure there is something closer to TO Your Renewable Energy Source in London Ontario Canada
