I have the ideas, just no real way to express them in visual format except on paper.

Anyone want to go halves on the registration fee and can help with the design will split the winnings with me

I would love to enter this contest. So many ideas......

$25 entrance fee? What kind of contest is that? Talk about limiting your pool of ideas. What kind of entries are they going to get by limiting the people that enter to ones who are going to pay 25 bucks?

So often people feel they need the signature of commitment that a dollar provides. I agree only limited ideas will emerge however, the cause is so real and the solution requires a cross intellectual consolidation of knowledge. There are some outspoken questions however, like where is the city block and what are its energy needs? "Horselover" I'd like to join you in a combined effort, ecspeacially since it would defer the coost of registration. At that rate by the time they get 80 people to apply they've paid for the events prize. Is this just another scam to defer the solution into an opportuinity for someone else? I have to wonder , but I like the idea, being a part of the solution and all, but I wish someone would pay me for living the dream, building opportunities for myself etc... None the less Dad would say Your either part of the problem or part of the solutiuon , You choose.

There is another contest running until mid-December. It involves coming up with a use for an old mattress. I think the prize is $1000. here is the link Discarded Dreams | Open Architecture Network

A lot of energy went into making the mattress's stored potential for accomplishing _________? Combustion under metal recovery process's may recoup the iron from the waste of the crushed matress. I'm wondering more about sediment recovery systems. Like maybe shifting sands secured by wired matress mat..MAybe,...?
