Question Recommended secondhand/thrift/consignment shops where you live?

I was in the Boston, Massachusetts (USA) area recently.
I visited a store called "Urban Renewals". The advertisement for the store described was something like: "see how experienced our clothes are!".

One can buy t-shirts, coats, wedding gowns, evening gowns, jeans, shoes, furniture, dishes, toys and other goods there! Very nice display as in the rainbow.

One note: some places are picky about accepting donations of items with stains or rips. Some, like Urban Renewals are not. So buyer beware and shop carefully.

My mom picked up a nice jacket for US$5!

I also think estate sales have higher quality goods than garage/yard sales.

FYI: Urban Renewals is located in or near Brookline, MASS or maybe it's Brighton.

This is just an observation and merely one persons opinion but the steel gray background reminds me of stainless steel kitchen appliances or a metal coffin or filing cabinet .. sorry, but it does aand it feels cold. As this is an environmental site I guess I would like to see something a little warmer that makes me think earth and growth. It doesn't have to be silly and frilly or cutesie which would tend to make the site less serious but something a little warmer. The greenery behind your head in your picture would look better...lol. Just an idea.

Grey? My background is blue. It could just be your monitor.

good observatioin Dreamweaverr... it is grey horselover I think maybe you have custom colors set.... the thing is the website was first done to talk about space, alternative energy, conspiracy theories.... over the last year it went more in the direction of the environment so you're right Dreamweaverr over the next month or two I'll try to take some time and green up the design

Oh, well it's funny since I've accessed this site from different computers and always remember seeing it blue. Unless it's a different shade of grey that I don't know about. :P

I'll take a screenshot.
