Maybe we can have a photogallery based on countries/continent of where the pictures are taken? Seeing some of the photos in the contest, it would be neat to see where others have visited and to see some of the wildlife/environment from our member's perspective.

That's awesome raptor. I look forward to seeing it and contributing to it! I particularly want to see pictures of Africa as I don't think I'll ever get there and the Antarctic if anybody has been there.

How about taking one more step and post some pictures of places that are not enviornmentally friendly and some pictures of places that are?

I think we're plannig this for when the contest ends. The winnig photos will be displayed on the site anyways, as is set out in the contest rules.

Any idea of when the photo library could start up? Perhaps we could stick to the idea of different continent threads? Once there, then we can post up pictures from different countries within that continent? Maybe even go deeper categorically. But some type of organization?

well that's one thing, but how would you count Asia and Europe? well i suppose if we didn't have many of either of those then we skip to Eurasia but i don't know really. Well a photo contest seems like an awesome idea i hope to join in as best i can, but do you have a preference on what kind of scheme i should be going for?

What about those of us who don't get to travel a lot? I would hope that photos of our own local areas would be welcome.
