I just noticed in some of the threads that there are links in people's posts. But it's specific words. I went back to one of my posts that I know that I did not link any words to any site...but for some reason, I now did.

But when I clicked on these words, i.e. chives, I was expecting a wikipedia entry, or a picture of chives. However, it was more for selling a product. I know I didn't do it.

Can anybody telling me what's going on?

It's just advertising on our site... we're trying out a new advertiser that creates links on content... I might disable it for members.

I'm on a paid forum that does this as well, it helps generate income for the website when people click on the links. Can be a nusinace at times, but other times it gives you good information.

It's totally cool! Especially if you're trying to generate income. I didn't want you to think that I was spamming the site! LOL!
