The overall aim of the Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER) is to facilitate the creation of a single competitive, efficient and sustainable internal market for gas and electricity in Europe. CEER also maintains close working relations with regulatory authorities in North America and Central and Eastern Europe. CEER now has twenty-nine members: the 27 EU Member States: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Malta, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom plus Norway and Iceland. Canada's environment minister says he regrets watered-down climate deal

THE ASSOCIATED PRESS/Dita Alangkara BALI, Indonesia - Canada helped gut some of the substance from a world climate-change deal and then expressed regret Saturday when the final agreement was ultimately watered down even more than it had hoped. ................................... Canada sided with the U.S. and Japan in a small group of wealthy non-European countries that successfully removed references to emissions targets for developed countries by 2020.
