Posted on Sun May 4 2008
Flowers – Flowers are beautiful and warm, and just about any woman, would appreciate a bouquet of flowers. And you could buy these at any local stores. If you and your mum stay in different cities, you can always get in touch with a local flower shop in your mom's city, and have it sent to her on Mother's day. In addition to flowers, various types of potted plants are a good idea as well. DIY – Do it on your own stuff. There's nothing more that anyone will appreciate if you take the time to create and make a gift on your own. This is indeed irreplaceable, and which no money in the world can replace. You can get creative, and experiment with all sorts of different things. You'll be surprised with some of the beautiful things your able to create with your own hands. There are many environmentally safe, Arts & Crafts Stores where you can pick up kits and create something unique. Jewelry – True, what woman does not like jewelry. While popular choices would be pearls, gold, diamonds etc. This year go for something unconventional. Go for jewelry that is made of glass, shells and other such stuff. Organic – Whatever you wish to buy, you can check and find out if there are organic things available in those categories. For example, if you want to buy cosmetics, do you know that there are organic cosmetics that you can opt for. Candles – Choose earth safe and friendly candles, such as those made of beeswax, soy etc. It's pretty easy to find these. There are scented candles as well.
