Do you have a brick and mortar business? Even if you have an offline business, it doesn’t mean that you can’t promote and market it in the online world. This can be an effective strategy, which can potentially save you money in the long-term as well as reduce your waste. Incorporating social media and online marketing is just another way to reach your target audience without flyers, newspaper advertisements, etc.

Marketing Tools on the Web

Some of the most popular social media networking tools include Facebook and Twitter. These tools can help your business develop a following or fan base of people. By sending out updates on your products and services as well as coupons and deals, you will reach more people who will potentially spread the word about your business. This can be a fun way to promote yourself, because you can be creative.

Traditional forms of advertising include the radio, billboards and television, but these routes can be costly. You can use YouTube and upload a short video about your business and what it has to offer. This video can then be uploaded to your blog and other outlets. Many people are purchasing their holiday gifts online out of convenience to avoid the busy stores and maybe your store is exactly what they’re looking for.

Where Do You Start?

There are so many avenues of marketing your business online. Some ways take more effort than others, so it’s beneficial to experiment with the various tools and see which ones work best for you. You can also consider sending out press releases to free press release distribution sites. Or you can start a blog and include helpful tips as well as updates on your products and services. There are also a plethora of advertising opportunities too.

Advertising your company via flyers, employee t-shirts, pamphlets, business cards, etc. can be effective, but it can also be a waste of resources. At least in the online world, you can use search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to gain more exposure and reach your target audience in forums and on social networking sites.

At any rate, solar power is still the way to go because it does no harm to the environment and is low-priced. 1. It won't require us to disturb ecological systems. 2. It requires the aid of the sun which, until it dies in the next, oh say, billion years, is limitless. 3. It's cool. Makes our homes look like robots but live like plants!
