Next week, a 5-year-old Sumatran rhino born in captivity will be sent to Indonesia to breed and help save its species from extinction. There are less than 300 of this species of rhino left in Malaysia and Sumatra. Conservation groups are hoping the young, energetic rhino, named Andalas, will fall in love with females Rosa and Ratu, who are waiting for him at a rhino sanctuary on Sumatra Island. Similar efforts in India and Africa have helped increase rhino populations in those countries.
