I guess this could be considered volunteering. I just found this yesterday and what a simple concept. I’ve done other volunteering but I like the concepts here, being able to see your differenence long after joining and supporting super reputable environmental organizations. |

I will have to check into this more but I think this is a unique idea and they have a lot of good causes they are supporting. Thanks for sharing this one. |

Yes, thank you for the link. I like the idea of saving the world one buck at a time. Now I can just get my cheap friends to dole out that buck. I better get to work! |

I donated. I will be promoting it on my forum as well. |

Thank you for posting this. What a great concept, with a lot of variety to appeal to many people. I plan to share this link also! |

Hopefully it was a vacation and not work, greenbean! But I’m a little bit confused. Join your ripple? I didn’t know you were a purple of fact. |

That looks like a really good idea. It wouldn’t load for me at first so I was afraid that the site had closed, but it’s working now, so yay! |

An awesome idea. Sometimes people don’t realize exactly the distance a little bit of effort (or a little bit of money) can travel. I think things like this will really get people to understand that they can make a difference. Sometimes people don’t bother volunteering or donating because they don’t think what they have to offer is enough: but in the end, any little bit is more than nothing. |

That is very true, every little bit helps. The problem with people is that they do not see the end results most of the time. That is why most people do not volunteer or donate. |

I promoted it on my site, but when my site went down, my forum went with it. Now I have to track down my info. The only problem I had was that the banner I put in my sig line caused problems when I posted on my forum. I’ve got a new forum up, but I’m not putting it up there again. I’m not going to risk having the same problem. |

That sounds like a good idea if it was a banner that caused or problems. Once burned, twice shy. What’s your forum URL? |
