Good points made here. After all, shouldn’t these companies just be going green on their own? Annoying how such things become a selling point. |

But they ARE upping their rates, and using your concience to do it underhandedly. |

yes they are. And spending our money on pricey advertisements saying how good they are being to the environment! |

Everything is going up. I can’t afford the basics. It’s cutting back on cutting back, if you know what I mean. |

Sad to say, there are many in your same position Orry. Now add the possibility of mandatory health insurance to it all. |

Today I saw a new story at said we are spending 88ยข per gallon of gas. That’s disgusting and it is why no one can afford anything. |

Crazy isn’t it? The prices on everything is going up. It is going to continue to climb as the gas prices do here in California. |

It can be overwhelming at times. Scary to think what kind of future our kids will have. Although, I am sure my parents felt the same way when I was younger. |

natureelf: The gas prices in California are horrible right now! I gassed up my car last night and it was depressing. At least once I move (tomorrow), I’ll have a way shorter commute and won’t go through a tank in less than a week! I feel the pinch, I graduated last June and the economy/ job hunting was horrible! A lot of out-of-work people were applying to entry-level jobs that would normally go to recent college graduates. Of course, this meant that I had difficulty finding a job because their experience beat mine. I was lucky to finally find a good job, but it took a while. Most of my friends are still looking though. |

allgreen, I have heard that many times. Someone is out of college and has a hard time finding a job, mostly because of the lack of jobs. So many big companies are down sizing too. |

Thank you! I’m all moved in now, but the apartment is a mess. Boxes everywhere! I work until 6:00 PM each night, so I don’t have a ton of time to unpack (little by little I’m getting there though). I’m also looking forward to having my internet set up. It was so frustrating looking for jobs. I was actively looking for months–I probably applied to 5-10 places each weekday and averaged a couple of interviews a week. I always lost out to someone more qualified, even for stuff like paid internships. I had actually completed the equivalent of 3 internships in college, maintained my own blog, website, and social media accounts, and did some freelance reporting for an online news site, so I had to have more experience than some of the other college grads. (I was applying to writing, editing, and social media positions, so it was relevant experience and probably helped me land this job! |

Yes, it is fun! Or it will be once I finish the unfun stuff and can start organizing and decorating. And thanks |
