But you can do that on TV and not a computer. Computers tie you down, unless it’s a laptop, but if my choice is a 17″ computer screen or a 42″ TV, I’ll take the 42″.

“I don’t use an mp3 player but other members of my family seem very attached to theirs despite having phones that would do much the same thing.”
I know that I hang onto my old MP3 player because it can store a lot more music and it has a longer battery life. That said, when it breaks, I’ll probably stick with my phone.

I do watch TV on my computer though. I don’t have a way to record it on my TV when I miss a show!

We have our music stored on our phone also. So much easier. Regarding the TV vs computer….we watch many shows through our computer. Hubby (a comp guy) is able to make the computer play through the TV.

There are some gadgets or pieces of equipment that really should change but no one seems to bother about improving them. Shopping trolleys are much the same as they were 39 years ago, they are difficult to use, because you have to squash all the food together and they are often difficult to push. Surely someone could come up with an easier way to do it.

Eventually, I think technology will spread and evolve and some of the issues or concerns will fade away.
