Do you prefer natural fabrics to synthetic ones? I know I do. I prefer clothes made from cotton, wool, or other natural fibres. They feel more comfortable and they look better. I suppose some of my home soft furnishings are made from synthetics, such as the fabric on my sofa, but I think I would really prefer cotton for this too. I think use of natural fibres is better for the environment, as synthetics are generally produced from feedstock of carbon-based molecules that come from crude oil, which is not renewable. The extraction and processsing is an energy-hungry process that wastes resources. |

I can’t wear wool, but I love cotton. Cotton breathes easier as well, and is easier to care for than most synthetics. |

I like cotton for just about anything….it so much easier to care for. And it wears nicely also. Getting organic cotton is a big plus. I have also found recently that I like bamboo. |

I mostly wear cotton…and that might be due to the place I live…but I like the fabric very much, soft and comfortable… |

I like cotton also. Works great for the little ones! I like how cotton is an easy fabric to care for. |

I think most will agree that Cotton is their favourite fabric.. it is cool in summer especially, hard wearing, and easy to care for. What’s not to like? |

I love cotton, which is the coolest most comfortable material in my book. I love it. |

Actually synthetic materials do tend to give a feeling of stickiness when wearing, even if you are in a cool environment. Of the natural fabrics..I like Silk too…. |

I like the feel of silk, however not really for wearing. It seems too hot, like it does not breathe well. |

Silk is beautiful. I love the look as well but it’s never felt natural or comfortable to me the way cotton has. |

Bamboo fibers make really nice clothes, towels and bed sheets. They are very soft, absorbent and durable. |

I had recently purchased some bamboo kitchen towels. They are the best towels I have ever had. They wash well and look just as nice as when new. What I really love is how well they dry. |

We have some bamboo bedsheets. They are very soft and durable. We have had them for over a year and they still look great. |
