Back to lazy … today was finally a day when I was not all that lazy. I got a lot done. Would you believe we went through the entire month of August without hitting 100 degrees? That doesn’t happen often.

Nice! I hate hot weather, so a cooler than usual month is always nice. My weather is milder because of the proximity to the ocean, so hitting 100 is quite rare here. (I’m not right by the ocean, but even living a few miles away from it gives a nice ocean breeze… I don’t have air conditioning and I’m on the second floor, so I’m happy for this.)

I love that thought, of being near the ocean breeze. I’m inland, though, so only get that when I go on vacation.

I would love to live near the sea. I live about as far from the sea as you can get in England (which isn’t that far). We don’t tend to have air conditioning in UK so it is nice to have a cooling breeze

I miss living more coastal. I grew up about 30 miles from the ocean. I loved the coastal air. We are much further inland now….I miss the beach!

I never go to the beach, but I love driving by the ocean. I’ve always thought it would be strange to live too far from the coast. (A few hours is fine, but more than a day’s drive would be kind of odd for me. Not quite sure why.)

In England you couldn’t be more than a day’s drive from the sea! I love to be by the sea it clears my mind and makes me feel in tune with the world again.

I thought of that when I made the post, actually  I think I would feel trapped if I was too far from it.

The ocean is just so peaceful. I really wish I could go there on a regular basis.
