Greetings and Salutations fellow tree-hugging, earth loving, nature nuts. I’m not the kind that goes out an interacts with the world a heck of a lot, but I am very concerned with the state of our Gaia, and more so with the animal life. If it can be recycled I will recylce it by george!!!! Even if I have to pick it out of the garbage because someone else put it there.

Speaking of animal life that was another idea I was thinking about. Why not have a section devoted to animals, everything ranging from endangered species to family pet members.They are a part of our environment after all. There are so many possibilities here.

I’m new here too. Habitat respect is one of my lifestyle priorities.

I grew up with the CBC on B&W TV. When I first saw these PSA videos it was like I imagine a Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds flashback might be like, my heart jumped into my throat, my eyes teared. My understanding is a wealthy Canadian businessman willed money to the Hinerland Who’s Who organization with the intent of preserving these important videos and promoting habitat protection. I don’t know how much of that is true.

If there is going to be a section devoted to animals, I vote that this clip become its avatar…

Me too!! Isn’t it frightening how the trees are all getting cut down and the big buildings are going up left right and center? Ugly buildings at that lol!

Between the builders and the pine beetles we’ll be a treeless province in no time, how sad would that be?

Glad to hear you’re a greenie from BC! Great weather out there. I’m thinking if I ever move out of Toronto, Vancouver or San Francisco are the two best options.
