Do you believe that there is a connection between the love of nature and wanting to protect the environment?

No. Logic suggests there should be, but many people seem incapable of joined up thinking.

There should be really shouldn’t there, but I don’t think it is that simple.

I am not sure if there is or not. Many people do love nature but could really give a crap about the environment.

I think more people are becoming aware of such issues. I hope that continues to grow.

I started thinking about it after doing a survey online. It’s intriguing to love nature and yet not care about it continuing.

I think it works the other way too. There are lots of people who love city living and would never want to spend time in the countryside, some don’t even seem to appreciate the natural world around them, but they still care about environmental issues.

I have seen so called ‘nature lovers’ do nothing to help the environment, even doing the complete opposite and littering instead of walking a half a block to throw something in a trash can. It was really crazy.

Yes, sadly I think we have all seen things like that phoenyxstarr.

I don’t know. I do what I can to protect the environment, but I have no desire to live in the country.

I’d like to live in Portland, Oregon. It’s a big city, but it’s eco-friendly and there’s nature and stuff around it :-) Plus I love the Pacific Northwest, it’s just beautiful up there.

It is very beautiful, allgreen. Northern Ca is also very nice. One of the prettiest cities I ever went to was Santa Cruz. I just fell in love with it….so green and beautiful. Great atmosphere too.

I would like to live in the middle of a field with no neighbours! My ideal would be to live in Cornwall (England) close to the sea..

I went to school in Oregon and loved it up there. Santa Cruz is nice too. I’m more of a Northern California/Pacific Northwest kind of person than a Southern California one… yet here I am. And Northern California is lovely… I’ve driven through there a lot. The redwoods, in particular, are amazing.

No neighbors would be nice :-) I just want to live somewhere that has things to do. Even my university town was a bit small for me, and it’s a big city for Oregon. (I’ve always lived less than 1 1/2 hours away from 2 major cities and in an area with a few big cities of its own.)

No neighbors would be very nice. Just to have lots of nature around you would be so serene.

Actually, I love nature, but I couldn’t live in it. I had bugs and crawling things, but I still love it and realize its value.
