Yes eye colour is interesting. I have dark brown eyes and I hoped my children would have dark brown eyes too, but only one did.

Until I had my children I assumed that blue was recessive and brown dominant so I would probably have brown eyed children (i know I must have a recessive blue gene because my dad had blue eyes). However it must be more complicated than that because I have one child with brown eyes, one with green eyes and one with a very odd eye colour that seems to have some ‘red’ in it.

Eye color is an interesting one because sometimes the colors blend too.
I always wanted brown eyes when I was a kid! You guys are lucky
