I’m hoping next spring, people who live here in Ontario we could get together for a day and do a tree planting project somewhere are the GTA area, let me know your thoughts :)

I would love to! I read this at work this morning but unfortunately couldn’t post since I couldn’t stay signed in for some reason.

It’s a great idea, and a great way for us GTA’ers especially to meet each other. I would love to meet some of the people.

Oh now it lets me reply. Ugh. The things I do.

It would be nice however, to be able to meet others before the spring if we could figure something out. Afterall, spring is a long way from now.

Tu B’Shevat is kind of like a Jewish Earth Day.

Ok, I found an interesting tidbit of info last night at work. *runs upstairs to get it*

Raptor, have you ever heard of evergreen.ca? I came across a flyer for it last night at work, and instantly thought of your tree planting idea. By far, I think this is the best resource for your plan for spring.

link This is the main site link. Some good info here.
link This link lets you register your volunteer project.

I’m sure this site will help you to plan this event for the spring.
