Feel free to move this if it’s in the wrong place…..
What I’ve noticed is when I check to see who’s online, I notice a few strange guests. What are “spiders”? We’ve got Yahoo!Slurp Spider, MSNbot Spider and one other that lurks.
What’s up with that?

spiders are search engines like google and yahoo who take the content here and put copy it so people can search for it on google.

Cool. Thanks for the info. It explains why a post of mine from another forum wound up on the Google search page.

They seem to be quite active.
They try to post responses or send messages but they can’t since they’re not registered.
I wonder if they’re human?

Log in access isn’t at the top right of your page anymore?
That’s odd. We will have to look into this for you.
