You know, one of the things I’ve noticed is how small the hybrid and electric vehicles are. That would make me so leery. In a crash with a even a standard size car, the little one would be toast. |

I actually like little cars, but I agree that they wouldn’t fare too well in a crash. |

I don’t need a huge car these days but I still need room in the boot and most of them have tiny little spaces for luggage. |

I couldn’t fit in one of those little jobbers. I don’t need a large car, but I do require something of a mid-size sedan to be comfortable. |

Most of the time a reasonably small car would do, but I wouldn’t buy one because of the lack of luggage space. |

I agree the boot space in some of them is not even big enough to carry my groceries home. |

And that makes everything inconvenient and non-functional, which is a complete shame. It is also not practical if you have kids. |

See, I don’t have kids and I don’t have a ton of groceries. I usually just put my groceries on the passenger seat anyway… My main concern is commuting, so a small car is perfect for me. It all depends on your situation. |

I have more or less grown up kids plus husband, I often have several people in the car, so I need a bit of room. I could probably get the people into a small car, but not their bags. |
