I know one of our big power users in our home is the TV and computers. Even though the computers are the more eco friendly models, they are on and in use a big part of the day. |

Exactly. Times have changed, and not always for the better. |

I have to agree with you there Orry, sometimes conveniences seem to become more of an inconvenience! |

THing is once you have the convenience item, it is very hard afterwards to say.. well we don’t need this, lets do without it. |

That is true stavy. I think that is how society as a whole has evolved to the fast paced life style we live now. |

we’ve all gotten lazy. Why make macaroni cheese if you can buy it in a packet and zap it in the microwave (yuk btw) Why peel a potato when you can get ready mashed in a tub. We lose all the goodness and take in all those extra chemicals.. but it’s ‘convenient’. |

When I was pregnant with my first son, I took some time to learn about nutrition. I made major (and gradual) changes to our lifestyle. I began with food choices. I pretty much make everything from scratch, it is a lot of work. On occasion I do give in to the pre packed things. |
