It’s a chain of stores that’s in quite a few shopping malls around here. They sell the best chocolate ever! And this is coming from someone who is not a chocolate person…

I believe it’s just a US chain, maybe even one that’s only in certain areas. I know they have them in California and Oregon, not sure about other states.

Thanks for explaining that, I don’t think they are available here.

Thanks for explaining the candies justontime, I missed that post earlier.

It doesn’t sound like we have anything that’s exactly the same as either of those two candies (at least nothing I’ve seen). The sticks of rock sound kind of like the stick candies that old-fashioned candy stores sell around here. They’re kind of like a candy cane, but thicker, not shaped like a cane, and in a variety of flavors. I’m not saying they’re exactly the same, just that’s what came to mind.

At any rate, I think that either of those would be interesting to send.

Thank you it helps to know what may be interesting to her. I will send the cola cubes and the clove balls. I have also decided to send her some of my favourite toffees, lemon bonbons, just because I like them. I hardly ever eat them these days, but it would be nice to share something I like.

Sounds so yummy. :) We always send chocolates to our out of country relatives. My grandma in Argentina just loves See’s chocolates. And we love getting chocolates and candies that are popular from that area.

I think it is a lovely idea to send a parcel of goodies to a friend or family member in a different country.

ROFL….cheap gucci shoes. haha…….

oh, spam again. It would be nice to be able to flag these posts!

Back to the OP, we have many family members that live in other countries, we often send packages. Esp. when someone travels to or from there.

So now to the next question, we are going to send her a T Shirt from a local beer festival, can someone please tell me the difference between US and UK sizes.

Send Terrys Chocolate Orange, Bournville Plain, Green & Blacks…

All English brands of chocolate I’ve sent over to friends myself. If they have kids, Milky Bars…

Stavy thanks for those ideas, what are Green and Blacks? Do you have any suggestions about sweets (non chocolate items) that I could send. Don’t they have Milky Bars in USA?

Green & Blacks organic chocolate justontime… yummy….

The lady I sent the milky bars to, for her kids, had never seen them before.

Things like sherbet lemons, rhubarb and custard, go look up the online shop ‘aquarterof . com’ for ideas..

Stavy, I agree that ‘aquarterof’ is a nice site (but a bit expensive), however it will not solve my problem. As you will see from the thread I have lots of ideas about what to send, but I need to know if they have those things in USA or not. I want to send things that don’t have there.
