It has just been announced that Treehugger will be shutting down
hugg.com for good. For those of you who don't know what hugg is, its a digg like website for green news. People are able to submit stories and vote on the best ones to bring them to the front page.
Hugg has done well over the years, it's been relaunched about a year ago and if you ask me it's never been the same.
It's too bad really because I feel that the environment has been benefiting greatly over the past few years, mainly due to the internet. First time ever are we able to spread news and tips to people around the world at the speed of light and education is the first weapon in keeping our earth green.
With that said make sure you keep spreading the green news, our sister website
grownews.com has been doing great, we receive lots of stories on weekly basis so go and vote for the best ones at
grownews.com
Don't forget our
green tips area , we're adding
new tips for you every week so there is no reason for trying new ways going green every week.
Rest In Peace Hugg.com
