Lyndsey asks:Do you know of any holistic eye drops for allergies?
The over-the-counter drops do work on my red, puffy, allergic eyes, but I am not comfortable with the ingredients I see listed. Does anyone know of any body-and-planet friendlier drops for allergies?

Holistic eye drops
Saline, which is just a little salt dissolved in water, is probably as friendly as you can get.
Instead of buying something like Visine, look at the wetting solutions or rinsing solutions for contact lenses, Many of them are simple saline. Since you already read labels, I bet you will find several options.

Similasan Healthy Relief
This is a holistic formula that uses plant and mineral based ingredients to relieve allergy eyes. I've never tried it, but it's worth looking into and it's found at common stores like Wal-Mart.

Eye drops ingredients
To tell you the truth, when I looked at the ingredients listed on my commercial eye drops, I honestly didn't know what all of those ingredients are. And here I am dropping this stuff on my eyes!
