They cost....

The solar panels cost (the ones I heard about that is)
from 20,000 to 50,000.
That may seem alot, but in all honesty it is well worth it. Cuzz you can produce more energy from them then you need, and send it to the power lines. You can earn like A LOTTTTTTT of money off of that. I'm trying to persuade my mom to get them for our family, but she keeps saying "no, they're to expensive"

Depends really...

Depends on a few things... are you need to cover... how new is the panel... newer panels are more efficient and they can cost less then older ones... the major thing is the area to cover... it doesn't have to be 20,000 you can buy them as cheap as a $1000 for a single panel.

Specific applications

Once you determine what the panels will be used for you can get a better idea of the price range. We have several warning lights on local traffic signs that are solar powered and they were very inexpensive, and I've seen solar panels on call boxes by the highway. Can't reckon that those were very pricey either.
