chris1203 asks:Do you think

that governments should buy up more land and turn them into nature and/or wildlike conservatories? I'm not sure where I stand on this issue.

buying land for animlas!

I do not think it will happen although it is a noble thought..there is a degree of selfless ness involved in doing so and I think even if the governement resolves to do so ...there will be many opposed to the idea as that land could be used for buildings..factories...malls...industires...homes...garbage dumps and what not....

governments should buy up...

It depends really as if a population of an indigenous animal is suffering than I guess it would be the perfect solution. Otherwise, may be un-needed

Government can only do so much

The government can only do so much and also land is at a premium these days. It's not like 100 years ago when land was everywhere. The buildout is eating up precious space and land and it will not end anytime soon.
