NO... I"m so sad

I just got a new job and the company I work with recycles nothing. All they do is compress their cardboard and recycle that.

I'm going to email someone about it soon. Figure out if I can make some changes locally. We just threw out 150 rolls of wrapping paper that we didn't sell at Christmas and 10 fake Christmas trees!!

We're doing our best

I work for a large organisation with diversified ventures. I'll be the first to admit we're not entirely green. But for the lot of us at work, we do our best to make the changes we can influence like about the coffee we buy, the stationary we use etc.

Even the smallest contribution is a contribution right?

Gone Digital

In my couple businesses that I have we've gone totally digital, there are plenty of tools to do everything online... google has amazing tools and there are countless of other ones that make life much easier to do business these days.

e-mails and recycling

The most important thing we have done is stopped printing mails, using only emails for correspondence and whatever paper we get we do see to it, that once the importance of the written matter is over, I mean the paper is of no use, then either the reverse side is used for rough work or the paper is send to a printer who make notepads out of them which can be used for rough work.

Paperless Office

I remember about 20 years ago that they predicted the paper free office by 2000. We certainly have the ability to be almost totally paper free. In our office we only use paper for contracts.
