chris1203 asks:Do you think

that with this bad economy, people are being forced into conservation. I mean, many people cannot just go out and buy new items all the time.

recently, there have been a surge of stars who have been asking us to think about global warming, climate change, etc...the point is are the stars really that concerned..I mean do they themselves lead a environmental friendly life, do they switch off the lights or not waste water or recycle just as they advise us to do or are they just very good actors who can not be trusted on issues like these.

It is an unbearingly hot day. The temperature is supposed to be more than 40 degree celcius and you are very very hot and tired. You have the option of switching on the fan, the water cooler or the AC. Which one will it be and why. Remeber...you have to think of the one that leasts bothers the environment.

chris1203 asks:Conserving Wildlife

We hear a lot about conservation, but they refer generally to products and energy conservation. But how about wildlife? Doesn't the standards of conservation cover them as well?

Where a day is set aside as a 'Community Day' where the company asks for volunteers to do some sort of community service instead of going to work. An organised activity. This year we are going to a homeless shelter where we will renovate it, by cleaning, painting, gardening, minor repairs etc. We are also going to a local wildlife conservation centre to help with seasonal tasks, to get the park ready for the summer, including rubbish clearance, tree/hedge trimming etc..This is just one small part of a wide range of things the company does as part of it's 'duty' to the community around it.

Do any of you work for a company with a similar policy?
