We've heard tales about the condensation trails left by airliners might block sunlight. Is that possible?

too, but I don't know whether or not there is any truth in that. You know how people just love to make up stuff to scare us to death.

Some people seem to want to scare others, or otherwise attempt to impress people with ignorant ideas. Might be from low self-esteem or some other imbalance.

Some believe in it very strongly...
but I have only seen them on the more "speculative conspiracy" shows. I haven't heard it mentioned in the more "conventional" news shows, That doesn't mean there is no harm. I guess I'll have to wait and see on this one.
