HereToday asks:California Question?

Should property sellers in California be required, by law, to reveal if the buyer's house is in an area known for fires, mudslides, cougar attacks, to call attention to the fact that a house really shouldn't be placed in this particular wilder area?

Full Disclosure

Is a requirement in all real estate transactions, in all states. Your point is a good one though, because there are many less-than-honest brokers out there (we call 'em mud-hustlers). Sage Mother is right about costs related, and as always, the buyer "must be aware".

California Question....

Property sellers should always be required to reveal this information, especially since that information may raise monthly home owner's insurance rates and have a direct affect on the monthly mortgage payments.
