By that I mean are you really obsessive about doing everything you can for the environment, or do you just do little things here and there?

I do try to

be aware of my impact, but i am not obsessive. I have a friend who goes to amazing lengths.. like dragging huge 10 gallon containers of shampoo home, just to say on packaging etc.

obsessive not me

I am concious about the environment and I do see myself thinknig twice before buying something or doing something.. I walk mostly and not take my vehicle...I reuse a lot, recycle a lot...but then come to think of it..the line between being concious and obsessive about something is really within u...some people whome others think are obsessive about he environment, don't think so themselves...so maybe ask my husband this question about me...;)

Not obsessive, buy try really hard to be responsible

We compost, recycle everything that our county accepts, use paper grocery bags for trash bags and try to remember our reusable shopping bags when we shop. Also try to avoid styrofoam whenever possible and use organic products whenever possible. We're just trying to reduce our "carbon footprint" - but it is an uphill battle when even companies like Trader Joes uses styrofoam packaging, or you watch someone throw a cup out the window of their car.

Yes i agree

with that.. Every little effort added up makes a difference. If all you can do is change your bulbs, then that's great and you should be pleased.

recycle...

I try to recycle paper, containers, plastic bags, etc.

I wouldn't say I'm obsessive about it, but I guess someone who gave it absolutely no thought may think I was.

I re-use scrap paper and then shred what I don't keep for recycling.

I try to be but still leading a semi normal life...

I try to do as much as I can... at least the thing I know I can keep up on daily basis... the major step for me is running this network of sites and spreading the green knowledge :)

Bring the word to others

It really shouldn't matter too much whether you do a lot or a little, some people don't have the tools needed to do everything they want all the time, I can't compost, I rent, As long as you are taking steps to help it helps...I recycle the things my community allows and I have been to several board meetings to get the waste company to do more.
I guess the biggest thing for me is like Bart, I run a site about green awareness, Some news, Articles. Mostly I like to try to get others involved. let them decide for themselves what they are concerned the most about and getting them thinking about it for their sakes not mine, I have to say honestly I get rather annoyed when someone makes a big deal out of their accomplishments and belittled others who don't...oh lets say... go vegetarian..or drive a hybrid. or they don't have a solar system not everybody thinks the same.
there are some out there who do absolutely nothing, so whatever I can do, is for me... better than simply nothing at all.
