While a paperless society is an honorable vision, it isn't practical.
Computers will help the environment most when the bulk of office workers can do so from home, using a computer.
It's the daily commute to and from work, that pollutes the most.

paper..no paper
the use of paper has certainly decreased in many ways...there are fewer postal mails, there are fewer bills...fewer tickets etc..so yes it is a good sign...
