HereToday asks:Will you be berry picking this summer?
It's a summer ritual for me; blackberries hanging heavy everywhere! Just the bears and me, seemingly, enjoying such bounty! Blackberries are a bit too sticker-y for young hands, but a more friendly berry is a great way to introduce little kids to nature, harvest, lots of good stuff! Will you take your kids berry picking this summer?

Yes! And Stickery is a very functional word!!
Our members' children enjoy our local wild fruits, but mostly Thimbleberries, which are similar to red raspberries. Also, smart pills are in abundance at this time of year, especially following the migration of wildlife through the neighborhood!

I used to...
go berry picking with my Mom when I was a kid, but I HATED it. Needless to say, I will not be going now that I'm on my own, lol.

I think my mother already has...
last week, my mom brought me a homemade blackberry pie. Knowing her, she picked the berries herself, lol.
