at the front of my house... i'm the only one in what was once a whole row of them that hasn't cut it down.

Trouble is now that the roots are lifting up the paving in front driveway.. I am advised to cut it down because it will grow towards my house and perhaps damage the foundations thought his hasnt actually happened as far as i can tell..

What do i do?

stavy asks:grow your own?

do you grow much of your own food? Apart from herbs and some fruit trees, the only thing edible I can say i grow is my grapevine. Being greek the vine leaves are used by the whole family :)

stavy asks:Tulips

I don't know why but I just can't get these flowers to grow in my garden. I have no trouble ith anything else. Is it possible there is some deficiency in the soil? I've even been to Amsterdam and brought fresh bulbs home... but nothing doing? Any suggestions?

(First one to say 'plant roses' gets a smack!)
