My roses are always infested, and need to be sprayed with chemicals to kill them. Is there something natural i could use instead?

biological control

Aphidius is the biological control for greenfly and blackfly. If you have a really devastating outbreak this might be the answer

Several possibilities

Start by squirting the affected areas with a strong jet of water (hose rather than spray bottle). Remove affected stems and leaves. Squash the pests by hand (if you can stand it). Squirt soapy sprays on the plant, especially the smaller larval forms. And try to encourage ladybugs in the garden, since their larvae eat aphids/greenfly. There are also some eco-friendlier sprays on the market.
