Were it not for the internet we couldn't ask these questions to each other (at this incredible level). Thanks, Stavy, for such a great question. One might ask if we might give up automobiles. Humans are smart enough to create comforts--hopefully we are also smart enough to survive them.

I'm ashamed to admit this, but I am so addicted to the Internet, and my computer, that I don't think that I could turn it off forever like that.

Good bye Internet...!

I have not gotten into the internet as much as most; technology of every type is my downfall. I learned what I know from having to use computers at work, with my husband updating my skills when necessary.
I like the internet for the news and shopping, but I don't really socialise on it. If the Internet went away tomorrow I'd re-subscribe to a newspaper and order catalogs again.

I can't imagine

what I would do without the Internet now. It's hard to believe that I've only had a computer for about ten years now. What did I do BEFORE I could get online to find the information that I needed?
