the tsunami that destroyed much in the south east asia a few years ago may occur again in other parts of the world, so scientist say. are the chances more because of global warming?

no i don't

think so. Tsunamis are caused by seismic activity.. namely the earth's tectonic plates, which are continually moving against each other, causing earthquakes..

Stavy is correct, tsunamis are caused by undersea earthquakes usually. Possibly global warming could warm the Earth's surface, potentially causing more fractures?

I have heard claims that one of the causes of tsunamis could ge global warming. But then, global warming causes everything these days!!!
