No, But lots of other things might!

If the ice caps were to disappear, we will already have been long extinct. What we must do is stop the carnage that we inflict on our fellow inhabitants, and on our environment.

Probably not

I think that the polar ice caps may not disappear this century, but I think that they will have melted enough to cause significant damage to our land space and also cause significant climate changes.
