Tata Group in India recently launched the world's cheapest car - TATA NAno. Many beleive this is a disaster as it will lead to more green house gas emission with obviously more cars on the road. What do you think?

World's cheapest car the most polluting too?
I seriously doubt that emerging nations, like India and China, will forego building anything simply because it pollutes. In fact, they will justify the pollution as a necessary by product of their countries finding its place in the world, just as the USA has done for decades.
