RE: Baby Powder?

Every baby powder should be used with caution, organic or not.
Talc is made from a very soft rock. Inhaling it could cause lung problems for both baby and mother.

I just read...

Talcum powder is usually made up of various combinations of zinc stearate, magnesium silicates, as well as other silicates which are finely ground. The size of particles is so small that they are both easily carried in the air like dust and can reach even the smallest areas of the lung!
Would you still want your baby to be smelling of talcum powder?

I don't think

I know anyone who still uses talcum poder of any kind be it adult or baby. I think people have realised that it is not really a good thing!

I dont know...

I don't really have a knowledgeable answer about this, but I've heard that baby powder can be dangerous if you, or the baby, breathes in to much of it.

Granny knew...

Good old cornstarch is super absorbent, comfy for babies, and I've never heard of any allergic reaction resulting from its use.
