Many options if you really want to try...

I know that sea cruises are a wonderful experience but they are also terribly pulluting as they use a lot of fossil fuel and emit carbon....
What I suggest is this,
1. Try sailing - It does not use fossil fuel
2. Go for options of small cruises like the Houseboats in the backwaters of Kerela, India or the whale-watching vessel off the coast of Newfoundland.
3. Choose cruises offered by members of the Cruise Lines International Association which make sure that the environment is least bit tampered with while cruising. Here is a link to their site http://www.cruising.org/CruiseLines/index.cfm

Working Green Cruises

There actually are cruises you can take where you sail to certain places that needs some kind of ecological help. You work on a green project, but on the way to and fro you have the luxe cruise experience.
