With the digital cameras most of our family photographs are now stored in the computer and notthe album and I think it does help in lessening the use of paper...but do any of you still take print outs of the photos for the album?

I hadn't thought about it....

But you know, the answer is no. I have them stored on disc, on digital frames.....but not in old fashioned scrapbooks.

The few I HAVE printed out were very large, poster size, scenic shots that I had printed, mounted and framed.

The 21st Century!

Although an actual print might be necessary occasionally (in a courtroom, at an accident scene, etc.) the digital media that we are blessed with is a thousand times more useful and flexible than (sob) the old film camers.. Click your digital device, click the mouse a couple of times--Voila! images anywhere you want! Computer, Television,Blackberry.

Just for the walls...

Whenever we put pictures up on the wall we'll print them out but that's it. Nobody looks at photo albums anymore...

We have a few digital picture frames around the house they work great.

I print the pictures out

I can't help it. I print them out. To me, pictures on the computer aren't the same as pictures in an album.
