And the multitude of other chemical pesticides the we seem to take for granted and use with apparent disregard for the environmental consequences? Do you all have any experience with alternatives?

Lavender..

dried in bunches and put in the wardrobe, chest, whatever.

try this.. made with moth repellent herbs

2 ounces each of dried rosemary and mint
1 ounce each of dried thyme and ginseng or lavender
8 ounces of whole cloves

mix them together and then use them to fill little cotton sachets to put in your wardrobes and drawers...
