My mom is getting married in september and I'm her maid of honor. I get to help choose my dress and I'd like to get something somewhat eco friendly. Can anyone suggest anything?

Craigslist?
2nd hand dresses are a good alternative, they might not be truly eco-friendly but anything 2nd hand makes it a notch better in terms of the environment. Good prices as well.

How about freecycle?
If you haven't looked into Freecycle it may be worth your while to do so. It's a localized networking group that hooks up givers with needers. Try going to www.freecycle.org.
