In my parents home there was a solar cooker long time ago which cooked delicious meals which were nutritiuos too...I can't find those cookers now. Have they become obsolete or is some more development taking place in that area. I would love to know if someone uses this cookrer wchich is very energy efficient and eco friendly.

Have you used a solar cooker?

I haven't used one but I have a friend who uses his during the sumer and on sunny winter days. Since it really dosen't change the nutritious value of the food and taste is more a function of seasoning than anything else, his cooker does exactly what it is supposed to do.

It cooks his food without his having to use his stove inside. He has saved a bit on his energy bill.
