Some people say that reinvesting in moon exploration is a waste of time, but without out atmosphere to influence inventions and experiments, it could very well be that greener technology could be created there, for use on Earth.

Do you think going to the moon will help us develop or improve existing green technologies?

Conspiracy Theories

Are a very convenient method to justify false premises. When one factors in the human element, it becomes quite obvious that we did indeed land on and return from our moon, for the simple reason the humans can't keep their mouths shut. This world is way too open to keep that secret, let alone most other "conspiracies". We feel that exploration is critical in ANY direction, as has been proven countless times.

there is always

some nutjob with a daft theory... of course we went...

By now we should have a fully operational moonbase as our first stepping stone to the stars... doesn't anyone else here want to go see what's out there with me?

greening the moon

The question here is whether something green can be done on the moon. why not if the effort is made in that direction. But to tell the truth it is my gut feeling that even if we do land on the moon, we will start polluting it the way we have polluted earth.

Did we really go to the moon at all?

There is quite a large movement that says that the US astronauts did not go to the moon at all; that it was all filmed in a studio.

I agree with Terra Madre

If we didn't actually go to the moon, such a thing could never have been kept secret. Someone, probably MANY people would have told someone who told someon who told someone...

I don't know why...

...but there are some research and manufacturing procedures that are done better in a lesser degree of gravity; if it's green researching and manufacturing, the moon would be a prime place for such goings-on.

Green as in Green Cheese?

Way back when it was fancied that the Moon was made of green cheese. Fanciful idea, turned out to be not quite true. I don't know if that's a bad thing or not.
