I am talking of the lights that are recessed int othe ceiling and appear quite nice..without a buld protruding from the walls....but I have heard these lights use immense amount of energy and if you do plan to install these...do make sure you can have the option of using leds inside.

Do you use can lights in your home?

We have none, right now, but I want to install them in every room of our home.

It will be a slow process though, because it is part of our renovation plan, which will be executed over several years.
Comments:
I use these lights in my home and it has saved me a bundle of money every month, although the initial out-of-pocket expense was substantial. over the long haul, though, it will pay off.

RE: Do you use can lights in your home?

We haven't installed can lights yet, but I think the amount of energy they use depends on the type of bulb you use.

not sure you

can get energy saving bulbs that fit into that kind of light actually. So although they may look nice, they are not energy efficient.
